What We Did
The kitchen at Bower Hill was taken back to the walls and rebuilt: new cabinets, counters, range hood, and lighting, with the room opened up to work the way people actually cook.
The progress photograph shows how far back the crew went: walls stripped, ceiling drywall freshly hung, the old kitchen gone entirely. Rebuilding from that point is how you get a kitchen that lasts, because everything behind the cabinets, the wiring, the walls, the ceiling, is new or verified before a single finish goes in. The finished room has warm wood cabinetry, a green tile backsplash, a stainless range hood, and new appliances, with the counter run extended so the kitchen finally has real working space.
The half bath got the same treatment at a smaller scale. The before photograph shows it stripped to cement board, partway through demolition. It came back as a finished, fully tiled room with a new vanity and fixtures.
Kitchens and bathrooms are where renovation budgets go to die, and they are also the rooms a family touches every single day. That is why we rebuild them completely rather than resurfacing them: a repainted cabinet fails in two years, a rebuilt kitchen serves for twenty. Bower Hill is a good example of the standard every one of our interiors is renovated to, fully updated, healthy, and move-in-ready, so the home needs minimal immediate maintenance from the day the keys change hands. The lighting was rebuilt along with the room, with a new fixture plan replacing the single dated ceiling light, because a kitchen you cook in every night deserves to be a room you can actually see in.
